Yearly Treatment Plan

Yearly Treatment Plan
It is not possible to give a set treatment plan for every lawn because I need to monitor ongoing progress and all lawns respond differently. This is what makes my service totally unique. As a result, your lawn will become healthier and the results will be long-lasting.
All lawns should have at least four high-quality feeds applied every season to keep them in optimum condition.
Every feed applied by me is different than the last. I am one of the few companies that always apply this golden rule.
I apply what I think your lawn needs on site, and am happy to discuss with you the details of the products we're using and why we are applying it to your lawn.
With all my treatments I tidy everything after making sure all scaryfing clipping are collected, hollow cores collected and fertiliser swept off patio areas.
Treatment prices start from £15.00 for a single lawn application.
The below is an example of a typical yearly treatment plan.
Treatment 1 - Spring Treatment
I strongly recommend scarifying now followed by a first application of fertilisers. This first feed decision is made dependent on the pH balance in the soil and how the lawn has faired through the cold winter months.
Over feeding too early will cause problems later in the year so this application must be accurate. First application at this time of our weed killers to stop early weed development.
Treatment 2 - Early Summer
Second application of controlled micro granular feeds. This feed again is dependent on your lawn's composition. For example, on sandy soils we use a feed with various nutrient carriers such as lignite. This helps the retention of nutrients. This would not, however, work well on clay soil so we would use a different fertiliser again. All are homogeneous, meaning all granules are the same size and contain the same nutrients, so there is no uneven release pattern. The second application of weed controllers may be applied.
Treatment 3 - Late Summer
At this time of year, we may apply stabilised nitrogen compound feeds containing important trace elements. Again, there's a wide choice of products that our operative can opt for dependent on your lawn's needs at a time when we aim to bring a deep green colour to the sward. Checks at this time are for insect problems and disease control, as well as weed controls if still required.
Treatment 4 - Autumn Winter
Lawn winter conditioner. These very important feeds contain iron, seaweed and a rooter. They are designed to last in wetter conditions and hold back moss spores in shaded areas makes a visible difference in days.
